Paraphrase David Swensen, I recognize the structural imbalances in the investment world. Vast differences in knowledge and sophistication exist between individual investors and sellers of investment products and advice. Not surprisingly, this produces poor results for the individual investor and a wealth transfer to the sophisticated sellers.
